Ossipee Mountaineers Snowmobile Club
is a family oriented club nestled in the
beautiful lakes and mountains of
Waterboro, Maine. Club members enjoy
monthly potluck dinners, family rides, club trips and a variety of other
fun club activities spent in the company of friends and other snowmobiling
enthusiast. Membership is open for anyone
to join!
During the spring, summer and
fall months, club volunteers spend time preparing
trails for the winter months
and raising money for trail supplies and grooming equipment. This involves
speaking to landowners to obtain permission for the use of private land, cutting
& cleaning downed trees, filling in low areas, putting up signs and build
bridges. In the winter months, the club grooms over 40 miles
of trail thru the Waterboro area and publishes updated local trail reports. Club
volunteers log hundreds of hours a season just in grooming trails! The club
incurs all costs to maintain our 4 pieces of grooming equipment including gas,
maintenance and insurance.
All this is done to provide snowmobilers in the Waterboro area with a safe and
enjoyable place to ride in Southern Maine.

learn more about membership in our club. Club meetings are held on the
first Saturday of the month from September thru April. A potluck dinner
starts each meeting at 6 pm followed by the general club meeting. Kids of
all ages are invited to attend and are kept busy with seasonal crafts and
spending time with other club kids.
All meeting are open to
the public and new members are always encouraged and welcomed!
