The fat lady is singing in Waterboro and, sadly, it's time to call it a season. While there is still plenty of snow in some areas, the running water has gotten the best of us making it difficult to get from point A to point B. The rains and warm temps this week won't do anything to improve conditions so it's time to park the groomers and close up the clubhouse kitchen until next winter. I'd like to thank the members that groomed trails this season particularly John and Dave who both put on about 1000 miles each.

While we had some complaints about our trail conditions this season, most of those came from riders that weren't members of clubs and don't realize all the hard work and money that goes into maintaining a trail system. With the high cost of fuel and the extended season many clubs found money tight but got the job done bringing in revenue to the state of Maine by attracting riders to some of the best trail conditions we've had in years. For this to continue, the clubs need more support from the state. Please support LD-633 which calls for a $2.00 increase for snowmobile registrations next season with 100% of the funds to go directly into the snowmobile trail fund.  You can support this bill by  contacting your local legislators and urging them to vote YES for LD-633. *All trails are subject to change with out notice.  Please watch for trail markings and respect any closed trail signs.  Riding on private property is a privilege not a right, please be considerate of our landowners so we do not loose the trails we have.
